9:00am, Leavenworth 76 gas station at Hwy. 2 and Icicle Rd.

We will hike up Fourth of July Creek Trail to a 7000+ ft. summit on the ridge that has a great view of the whole Stuart Range. That trail is 12 miles with 4700ft. gain round trip. It will be a tough hike, but it is good to do it in early season when it is not hot. The snow should be rather minimal and only near the top of the ridge. And the views will be quite rewarding. We will go at a very comfortable pace with a good amount of breaks. And please do get some food with me in Leavenworth afterwards!
