Planet Alaska, Tongass Tonics, and Parnassus Books are celebrating CASCADIA FIELD GUIDE in Southeast Alaska! May 31, 6 pm Alaska (7 pm Pacific) on Zoom.
Tidewater Glacier, one of the Cascadia Field Guide communities, is unique to Southeast Alaska. And beings like Alexander Archipelago Wolf are uniquely tied to Cascadia's northern range. Join us for an evening celebrating join us in a reading and conversation honoring some beings of Cascadia that call Southeast Alaska home.
Poets from Juneau, Ketchikan, Wrangell, Sitka, as well as Santa Fe, Seattle, and Provincetown will share work from Cascadia Field Guide. We will also honor important Cascadian Alaskan voices like Nora Marks Keixwnéi Dauenhauer, Richard Nelson, Eva Saulitis, and Sherry Simpson who are with us now only on the page.
READERS: Vivian Faith Prescott (Alexander Archipelago Wolf and Human), Aleria Jensen (Muskeg overview), Robert Lashley (Buckbean), Anne Haven McDonnell (Round-leaved Sundew), Katrina Roberts (Sea Otter), Emily Wall (Moon Jelly), Elizabeth Bradfield (Tidewater Glacier overview) will share poems and stories from the book.
