#1 CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA (231 MILES). The route begins at Grant Park in downtown Chicago. You’ll ride trails and city streets to make your way through the city into Indiana. Ride through Indiana on rural roads, highways and rail trails. Near Peru, the International Circus Hall of Fame is a favorite spot to visit. Included in this map is the Indianapolis Cutoff, which shortens the route by 50 miles and avoids Indianapolis.
