There was a “no entry” sign on the road at the T, right after the overpass. There was about 1.4 miles between the first road closed sign and the second with no obvious deterrent between.
Route after that was some dirt, some snow, some ice, a ridge line. Microspikes or better needed. We didn’t use snowshoes.
What views. We were lucky to be there on a blue bird day. We got a few extra miles on a perfectly driveable road, closed for no obvious reason.
