Wedge Mountain

Today's trip had a scary driving approach - so much so that I would not recommend this scramble. We had 3 SUVs with trouble getting up the rutted road. One car lost some plastic sheet on the bottom. The two others needed several attempts to get up 7205 at one point. We late rad in to a large boulder blocking the road, and were able to pray it up using 5 people and 3 ice axes.

That said, this is a beautiful, mild scramble first on trail, then snow (firm on the ridge, but postholing on the way down with many logs). Wildflowers and scenic views of the enchantments. The route finishes with a fun rock scramble, requiring helmets.
