Theler Wetlands

Swallows were abundant in nests on pilings, saw salamander egg sacks, blooming bleeding heart and service berry, two pairs of green winged teal and two hunting blue herons. No eagles today, but they were there last time. Great hike for the 6 and 7 year old girls--lasted 3 hours and only got to the river and back again.
