The Tooth/South Face

We had a wonderful time on the tooth today, The forecast was calling for afternoon rain, and the weather end up spectacular, clear skys til about noon until cloud rolled in on our descent to give a more alpine feel - Good lesson in looking at the weather details and didn't just rely on the daily values, and you don't know if you don't go. We took the winter route both directions and that should last for a few more weeks,though moats are becoming a hazard on the traversing boulder fields and a few crossings of slide alder low down. We didn't run into any holes on the ascent from Source lake to Pineapple Basin, but we came from the winter route and did not ascend close to the creek.
