The Tooth/South Face

Climb date: 7/1. To beat the heat we started at 4:30am and did 9 hrs car-to-car. We had 2 leaders and 4 followers with leaders bringing up two ropes and the students simul-following. Since we had 4 ropes we set up 4 single rope rappels and it worked very well with no bottlenecks. We downclimbed the approach instead of the double rope rappel into the gully, which saved some time as well. There is no water in the basin (except for a tiny dirty snow patch) so make sure to bring plenty of water.
