Teanaway Butte

The Middle Fork road was still snowed in near the start of the Forest Service section. We parked near the snow berm (Discover Pass required) and walked the road until the turnoff to the butte road. The weather was warm and sunny, so the snow conditions were soft and wet, but improved as we gained elevation. We put our snowshoes on near the intersection with the Rye Creek road and ascended the south ridge to the summit.
