Stewardship - Mount Pilchuck

Trail has lots of wear. No snow. A shutter on the lookout was broken by the wind storm last week. We closed the shutters for the winter. There were over fifty hikers at the summit.

On a fairly sunny day  five of us went up to close the shutters and prepare the lookout for winter.While doing a general inspection of the lookout we noticed a shutter had been broken by the wind storm the week before. The day of maintenace was a little longer then planned because of repairs to the broken shutter. There were many folks summiting the peak wanting to get on and in the lookout with lots of thank yous to are crew for work well done. We carried out all the supplies that had been left through the season down. No injuries.
