Snow & Gem Lakes (Snoqualmie)

This is an easily accessible, stunning hike from Seattle. We got a later start out the door then we would have liked, arriving at the busy parking lot (same lot as Alpintal Ski resort) at 10:30. After registering for the free permit at the trail head kiosk, we headed up the trail. We made it to the lake in about two hours, and enjoyed lunch with a view! It is amazing how quickly this hike takes you from the I-90 corridor into what feels like very alpine terrain! Back to the car in just over an hour.
