Serpentine Hill (winter)

We summitted Serpentine Hill (north of Blewett Pass) as winter scramble on 2/14/2016, gaining 2,400' in 6 hours of travel. Originally listed as Little Kachess, we moved east in hopes of better weather, which we got, though it was hardly a blue bird day. It was surprising how much bare ground was showing at the lower elevations on the drive up to Blewett Pass; weather to the contrary, spring seems to be knocking at the door in eastern Washington.
