Mount St. Helens/Worm Flows

05/10/2015 - Another epic Mt. St. Helens climb on Mothers Day! Great weather, not too cold/not too hot. No significant snow until over about 6500'. No crampons needed, a couple of icy sections easily negotiated. Good steps to the crater rim. Big cornice, Ranger had to tell everyone to get back several feet. So many people with so many creative costumes! Was able to glissade about 1,500+'. Rock ridge required careful footing on the descent. Scant snowpack is disappearing quickly. Excellent trip, all had a great time and a great workout!
