Mount Rose

Trip date 04/30/16. Excellent conditioning hike, beautiful day. A little less than 3 hrs up and 2 1/2 down. Went up the left trail and looped down the right. Large, deep snow patches begin far above Horse Camp on both routes. Mostly firm boot tracks easy to follow but beginning to break through. Some participants used microspikes. No snow through the burn area below the top and summit is completely snow-free. Great day with a fantastic strong group.
