May 3, 2014 - Mud and water on trail from TH on. Becomes icy at around 4000 ft, patches of ice and mud up scramble to summit. Don't forget warm clothing, it was snowing at the summit. Poles definitely recommended, the descent is very slippery. Use gators if you don't want to get super-dirty.
