Field Trip 1 - Seattle Naturalists Intro Natural World Course - Carkeek Park

Nine enthusiastic and well-prepared students arrived early for this field trip, #1 of the Intro to the Natural World course.  We spent three hours looking at plants near the Environmental Learning Center at Carkeek Park, with a break to snack and chat and enjoy the lovely weather--and the field studded with (invasive) Lawn Daisy.  Carkeek is still on the early side for blooming, and it didn't feel like anything had passed yet.  Should be great for the field trips happening the rest of the week.
