Trail is in mostly good shape. There is some blowdown above the falls. Watercrossings were pretty easy. Snow started below the stairs. We put on microspikes at the plank bridge as it was icy and snow and ice was pretty consistant after that. Snow was deep enough for some postholing, but mot too bad, betwee the second and third viewpoints.
We had a great day. This trip was originally planned for a day with a forecast of heavy rain. Delaying the trip by a few days rewarded us with mostly blue skies. All participants brought microspikes as requested, otherwise we would not have gone far. No woodland flowers yet, but the waterfalls and woods were beautiful with snow and icicles.
