Day Hike - Skookum Flats
Weather dry, cool underneath canopy of trees, trail moist but not muddy/wet, did not scramble to base of falls. HAZARD: a washout about 20 yards across was almost impossible to traverse.

Driving conditions on Hwy 410 easy, couldn't find FR 73 so started at FR 7160 at south end of section. Trail in good shape, one or two (icy) snow patches, few mud puddles. Ground moist, bridges wet. HAZARD: a washout about 1/2 mile in required care in crossing. Rest of trail was without issues. one bicyclist and two trail runners encountered. Two family groups met at creek at base of falls. Scrambled partially up to base but not all the way. A very pleasant day done!
