Day Hike - Rattlesnake Ledge

Good day(mid-week) & time(evening) for this popular hike.

  • Route showing how many people are not staying on the trail to the ledges, with quite a few social paths on the lower half of the trail. Lots of cut switchbacks will make it harder to prevent bad water damage in the future, the trail tread is so nice it's a shame ignorant people are ruining being able to keep it that way.

Evening parking was full in the overflow lot outside the gate.  The gates are signed to close at 9:30 pm, so plan accordingly.  Shoulder parking was easily used so that we did not have to put time pressure getting down...but we were back by 9pm.
