Day Hike - Naches Peak Loop and Sourdough Gap

Trail is in great condition - no snow and no obstacles on the trail.  We parked at the Chinook Pass lot, arriving around 8:00, and I was surprised the lot was already 3/4 full.  The forecast was for sunny and 62, but it remained cloudy/foggy for most of the day, and I'm not sure it ever got above 50 - those extra clothes we pack sure came in handy!  The flower show is really nice right now; we expected the fog to burn off as the day went on.  It slowly burned off east of the pass and gave us some nice views on the way back to the parking lot, but we never did see Rainier as we did the Naches Peak Loop due to the fog.  In spite of that the hike participants were thrilled with the hike, the moody feel due to the fog, and the flower show.
