Day Hike - Mount Erie via Sugarloaf

We hiked the "Four Summits Loop" route as described and really enjoyed it. It was mostly in the forest, with lots of ups and down (and one more serious climb up Mt. Erie). We had lots of avalanche lilies and great views from Erie's tower viewpoint (see photo).

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Trail was in good shape, though the steep section on the large rocks was a little challenging.  We were lucky to not have mud.

Wonderful to see soaring bald eagles!
