Our route includes the summits of Little Round Top, Sugar Cube, Mt. Erie and Sugarloaf, with views of the surrounding islands and local lakes, and we should have wildflowers in bloom! This trip is a bit exploratory and participants will need to participate in route finding, as there will be many trail junctions. Paper maps and a GAIA gps track will be provided. At the time of this writing, the mileage and elevation gain are close approximations. See https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/anacortes-community-forest-lands-four-summit-loop
Substantial hiking footwear and poles are recommended. The trail is rocky in places and may be muddy.
We'll meet at the Sugarloaf Trailhead at 8:30. The leader will send out the roster on the evening of Sunday April 30 so hikers can form carpools (strongly encouraged, to minimize the carbon footprint of our hike!).
