The trail is in good shape. Muddy of course on a rainy day. Two other hikers had difficulty where a small tree was across the trail. Our group did fine.
Showers were predicted and so we did not have problems at this usually busy parking lot. The summit was ours alone for dinner, the rain had stopped before we reached it. Forest flowers were in bloom. We stopped to watch some rock climbers on the way down. Very pleasant evening.
