Pleasant mid-week hike to beautiful Upper Granite Lake via the Granite Creek trail.

We only encountered a couple of people hiking in and mostly had the lake to ourselves, spending about an hour at our lunch spot. The water level was quite low especially for this time of year. Not too many bugs and the weather was pleasant.
Plenty of parking available as it was a mid-week morning hike. Trail is well maintained, only a couple of blowdowns to easily step over. Water level on the creek is low so water crossings were easy. 
We started at around 9:15 am and were back to our cars at around 3pm.
