Day Hike - Discovery Park

Nice paced walk around discovery park. Light snow and cloudy skies.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Took the loop trail all the way around the park. Cut into the south beach trail and later into the north beach trail to get views of the lighthouse

Great group- well conditioned. Also a first mountaineers trip for one person in the trip. A late morning start for an urban hike is always a happy one :)

We stuck together as a group. Everyone had a good time. We reached back to the parking lot by 11.30. 

few of us took the bus back to downtown. Overall would recommend this for an urban hike setting.
