Day Hike - Discovery Park

Discovery Park - Visitor Center East Parking Lot. 9.30 AM

Carpooling - Encouraged;

Metro line number 33 runs to the park frequently from downtown.

Today we will hike around one of the famous parks around Seattle - Discovery Park

We will meet near the Visitor center east parking lot. We will follow the loop trail over the camping grounds and head over to the light house and walk along the shore

We will stop for snacks / second break fast on the way. Please bring water and light snacks for along the way. Expect cold winds as we head out of the trees, so being some warm layers and gloves.

For those coming from downtown and looking to save on carbon foot print , the bus route number 33 runs from downtown very frequently and will bring you right to the meeting spot.
