The trail is in excellent conditions up to the lower lake. Beyond is easy to navigate snow that does not pose any problems (no traction req'd).
It was pouring rain, with snow encountered once we got to the lower lake. Since we had a couple of slower people, plus the fact that it was pouring, we decided to skip the upper lake. I had been there three days prior and it was spectacular, with fresh snow in the basin. I doubt we would have had much of view today.
People were happy with descending and warming up with pie and coffee in Enumclaw.
