We will start out slower, ascending steep switchbacks under the shade of the forest and emerge at a view of the Mountain, continuing on to flowery meadows and two clear lakes.

Please note: there are no views of Rainier from the lakes, so if  your main purpose is to gaze at the mountain all day, this may not be the hike for you (or you need to adjust your goals).
