Crystal Peak (Mount Rainier)

On 7/24/2014 I led nine Mountaineer day hikers up and back the four-mile (one way) the Crystal Peak trail in Mt. Rainier National Park. This strenuous/steep path is in excellent condition. We reached the top at 11:45 am. It was windy and about 45 degrees. There was no snow and the wildflowers are still blooming. -Greg Lovelady
