Nice trip on the Palouse-To-Cascades about half way down to Lake Easton

We skied over to the Palouse-To-Cascades trail and followed it SE to the Whittier Tunnel. We walked through the tunnel, then skied about another 2 KM. A few snow mobiles passed by, but they were not bothersome. On the way back we when up via the dogsled trails, but they had not been groomed and were a bit overrun with snowmobile tracks. The PTC trail was the nicer of the two.
