CHS - Mt. Rainier Campout - Skyscraper Pass & Skyscraper Mountain
Klickatat (Mt. Adams) greets you at Sunrise Lookout, but Tahoma (Mt. Rainier) dominates the sky when you travel to the summit of Skyscraper Mountain!

In the summer months, there is little shade. Groups should bring plenty of water and have party separations when trees are available. Apply sunscreen often and eat at regular intervals so you don't run out of energy.
Parking lot was empty at 8am at Sunrise Lookout. Trail has two water sources, One at Sunrise Visitor Center, and another is a creek crossing as you are climbing Skyscraper Pass
