Buck Mountain/Elbo Creek

What started out as a cold but beautiful day soon turned to rain and gloom. The hike is a beautiful climb through the woods to a forest service road. We wandered around and found one little road up to the tower. However, upon arriving at the tower we were treated to the smell of burning fuel and radiation signs. The forest service road did have some lovely views. In the future I would reommend people just go that far, and not up to the tower.
