Bogachiel River Trail

Fabulous backpack up Bogachiel River trail. Road to the trailhead is in good shape except for a few potholes. Trail is in great shape for first 8 miles. After this point, it had more blowdowns, rocks, and was muddy. It was easily passable though. We hiked in 10 miles to Flapjack camp and camped by the river. There is little elevation for this trip. The best part of this hike are the absolutely huge Sita Spruce trees, along the trail. Some of the largest I have ever seen. The solitude here is very nice; we only saw 4 other people the whole trip. We did see several elk and there was cougar tracks along trail too.
