Big Four Ice Caves

I went on a hiking trip with the Sierra Club to the Big 4 Ice Caves. We hiked up to the cave area, but did not go into the caves. I was amazed at the stupidity of other people, allowing their toddlers to run on the snow above the caves, risking a collapse/death!

Loved seeing nature take back land...beaver ponds replaced an old golf course at this location. I saw many birds, including cedar waxwings.
