Bainbridge Island

Our intent was to circumnavigate the island counter-clockwise - using both the morning ebb, and the afternoon flood. We launched from the Brownsville Marina about an hour before max ebb. paddled down Port Orchard and into Rich Passage right on schedule. We took a break at Blakely Rocks, then pressed on to Fay Bainbridge SP for lunch. From there we crossed Port Madison and entered Agate Passage – right on schedule – to enjoy a strong push, and some playtime at the bridge. Return to Brownsville at high water. Great day, with a great group.
