dry trail with a few small snow patches on way to basin. encountered snow at lip of basin. easy snow travel up to summit block.
Straight-forward hike to Gothic Basin with a few small snow patches on the way. Snow in the basin and Foggy Lake was frozen but for some spots around the perimeter. Snow travel eliminated the scree slopes. Snow right to rocky summit block. no issues getting to summit. able to glissade most of the way down to Foggy Lake. GPS from 3 of us averaged 6.5 miles in and 4300 feet gain. Left parking lot at 8:20am and back at 7:35pm. warm day but small puffy clouds obsucred any view beond the basin.
