Tacoma Narrows Bridge
An easy stroll on the Scott Pierson Trail and SR-16 across an iconic Tacoma landmark. The trail is used by walkers, runners, and cyclists.

Take Exit 4 off of SR-16 an turn left onto N Jackson Ave. Drive 0.3 mile, turn left onto 6th Ave, continue 0.2 mile, and turn left into the Narrows Park & Ride. Bear left and continue to the west end of the parking lot and the War Memorial Trailhead.

Walk from War Memorial Park along the Scott Pierson Trail and SR-16 across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and back. Look for views of Mount Rainier on a clear day.
The Scott Pierson Trail is over 6 miles long and runs between S 25th St in Tacoma and 24th St NW in Kitsap. Though it runs along a busy city highway, it's a good city trail run.

- There's lots of automobile traffic on the bridge and pedestrian and bicycle traffic on the trail, often making for a busy, noisy walk.
