Mount Niselheim/East Ridge
A short and fun 3-4 pitch rock climb in the Vahalla Mountains of British Columbia , Canada.
getting there
Drive to Slocan, north of Nelson, Britiah Columbia. Just south of Slocan, drive the Little Slocan River Forest Road. Turn right on the Bannock Burn Forest Road and follow it to the Gimli-Mulvey Trailhead. It's 15 miles of rough logging roads.
approach
From the camp at the south face of Mount Gimli, follow the trail to the col between Gimli and Niselheim.
ascent
Head up ramp to east shoulder and step out into the face following a ramp with some airy 5.7 climbing. Continue up to then and follow the wide ridge, almost a sidewalk to the summit.
descent
Descend northwest ridge (Class 4).
