Tinkham Peak via "hiker's route" is a strenuous, 6 mile round trip hike with 2,100 feet of elevation gain. The trail skirts Cottonwood and Mirror Lakes before ascending the rocky ridge to the peak. Hiking only to Mirror Lake is 3 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain round trip.
