While only 4.5 nm in length, Henderson Inlet has no convenient launch access sites, making it an interesting but longer paddle.  Chapman and Woodward Bays on the inlet's west shore are a nature preserve with a large seal and in season, bird population.  Woodward Bay has a water access site, but it is closed during the winter due to migrant birds and has limited daytime high tide accessibility in the summer.  Henderson can be reached by paying the launch fee at a Zittle's Marina on Johnson point or starting from Boston Harbor and adding another 3.5 nm. one way to the trip.
