Earl Peak is the prominent mountain in front of Mount Stuart as you drive up the Teanaway road. As the highest point in the Bean Basin area and being accessible from many different directions it is worth scrambling many times.

Earl Peak is a straight forward scramble that can be ascended from many directions:

Southwest ridge from confluence of Bean Creek and Beverly Creek. (Most interesting and technical route due to the long ridge).

West slopes up the trail from Bean basin. (Easiest route, mostly trail)

Northwest ridge from Bean Peak, (Best two-peak option)

South slopes or ridges from Standup Creek. (Best early and late season route)
