Exit 34 Popeye's parking lot on the side by the gas pumps
7:30 a.m.
We will explore a route starting at the Granite Lakes TH, ascending the NE ridge of Mailbox, descending the old trial, unless the group prefers a more gradual descent on the new trail.
Note that this will require a short car shuttle.
As always for winter trips, a change of destination is possible based on conditions.
If the forecast changes to suggest very bad weather Friday, the trip may shift to Saturday.
