Davis peak -is a hike in summer and a scramble in winter. The trail gains 4000 feet in 4 miles. We will need snow shoes on this one. The upper elevations should have about 2-3 feet of snow.
Like in every early winter, the conditions are known to change depending on weather and the risks are high.
Please come prepared to help navigate and also to keep a brisk pace and expect to break trail as needed
To help self assess - if you can hike up to the base of Mount si in under 2 hours.
