Urban Adventure - Lincoln Park

Great views, stairways and a trail along the beach and up on the bluff. This "hike" entails half walking on neighbor streets and half in parklands.

Meet at 10:30AM in the heart of Morgan Junction neighborhood at the Starbucks on the SW quadrant of the intersection of California Ave. and Fauntleroy Way SW. (West Seattle). 6503 California Ave SW.  If taking Public Transit, this intersection is served by the "C-Line" from downtown or the 128 bus from Admiral, Southcenter and White Center.  For those driving Do Not Park in the Starbucks lot.  There is free unrestricted parking on Fauntleroy Way  and  44th Ave. to the West of Starbucks.

We will do loop, first heading South through the neighborhood shopping street and by homes, up a hill with views , then down the city's second longest stairway at Thistle Street. We will backtrack North abit to visit Solstice Park then walk the bluff trail at Lincoln Park.  We will head down to the beach near the ferry dock and have lunch in one to the covered picnic areas.  We will then proceed North along the water continuing to Lowman beach park and then zigzagging up the hill and up another stairway to complete the loop to Starkbucks.
