Sea Kayak - San Juan Islands from Anacortes
An overnight adventure around Fidalgo Island. We will explore sea caves, camp on a new site and of course a run through Deception Pass! Must have sea kayaking camping experience and be comfortable in fast and lumpy currents.

We will be paddling approx 15 nm per day with loaded boats through currents and potentially rough water so good bracing and boat handling skills are a must. Drysuits are required and helmet/gloves if you plan to go into any of the caves. Kayak camping experience required. Parking and camping fees will apply. Limit 6.

Required Equipment
These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
