  • Maximum Wind: 15 kts

MEET at 9:00 am (and LAUNCH at 10:00 am) at the spit behind the Warmhouse Restaurant, 1471 Bay View Avenue, Neah Bay.  We will unload here and possibly park here, depending on room.  If the parking area is full, we may move the cars to the outer areas of the Washburn General Store parking lot.

Everyone that signs up for this paddle needs to ALSO sign up for the June 10 - 14 Sea Kayak -- Hobuck (ie, Surf Zone and Beyond) activity so we have a head count of everyone who's coming (even if you are just coming for part of it) and everyone must bring their ID and proof of vaccination to be admitted to the Makah Reservation.

We will be paddling out of the protected waters of Neah Bay and doing a bit of rock gardening around Waadah Island.  Participants will be able to choose which, if any, rock features they want to play in.  Sometimes we can learn a lot just by watching others!  No prior rock gardening experience required.

We will plan on having lunch on Waadah Island before heading back into Neah Bay.

Dry suits, helmet and gloves (no fingerless gloves) required.
