Sea Kayak - Indian Island Circumnavigation

Circumnavigation of Indian Island starting and ending at Port Hadlock, WA.

  • Sea Kayak III
  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 12.5 nm

We will launch promptly at 11:00am so please plan to arrive at the Port Hadlock boat ramp by no later than 10:00am to allow enough time for everyone to get their gear in order.

Please note that participants are responsible for bringing their own sea kayaks, gear, food, water, and for arranging the rental of anything they may require. And also for checking their equipment before the trip to make sure everything is in safe and seaworthy condition.

Dry suits designed for kayaking are required.

Stay tuned for further updates as the trip date approaches.

I expect this sea kayak trip to have this difficulty and these conditions (view the sea kayak difficulties definitions on our Activity Types, Difficulties & Prerequisites page):

  • Difficulty: SK III
  • Wind: 10-15 kts
  • Waves: 1-2 ft
  • Currents: < 3 kts
