Sea Kayak - Case Inlet

This is a 2021 Basic Sea Kayak Student Paddle! All brand new students are welcome to join this paddle. We’ll launch from Joemma State Park cross over to Harstine Island and hand rail the shoreline until reaching our destination in Dana passage a private beach with many amenities. It’s located a short distance from Brisco Point. After lunch will cross the passage heading SE until reaching mouth of Henderson Inlet. We’ll then head for shoreline of Key Peninsula. Once we’ve reached shore we’ll hand rail shore until we reach Joemma park.

You’ll need a Discovery Pass

Their are very nice restrooms here.

All Tacoma Sea Kayaking Student are required to have there Paddle Completion Sheets filled out and ready for discussion at lunch time.

Be sure to bring a lunch and something hot to drink.
Proper Immersion clothing required!

There are not any rental businesses anywhere near this paddle destination.

Required Equipment

These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips.  All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.

  1. Floatation in both ends of the kayak
  2. U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
  3. Paddle
  4. Spray skirt
  5. Bilge pump with floatation
  6. Self-rescue paddle float
  7. Waterproof whistle
  8. Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
