Trip

Sea Kayak - Cape Flattery & Tatoosh Island

This is the (Saturday) Rock Gardening / Advanced paddle for the Surf Camp weekend. SK V

  • Sea Kayak V
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 15.0 nm
  • Maximum Wind: 20 kts
  • Maximum Waves: 5 ft
  • Maximum Currents: 4 kts
  • Pace: 3

Please request permission before April 1st registration opening - even if you've been out with me before and I know you are skilled enough. That way we can distribute participation with the equivalent Saturday posting, if there is plenty of interest.

---

Paddlers must have previous experience in rock gardens, surf, a solid roll and recent incident management rescue practice.

Everyone on this trip must come to the pre-launch beach talk knowing the Wind, Weather and Wave conditions - and fully prepared for extreme situations.

The focus of this outing will be to have Fun, safely together - discovering and exploring dynamic water.
