We will walk at a slow pace and stop often to view and identify birds for about 3 hours. Our slow walk not only allows us to see birds but also eat our snacks on the go. I recommend waterproof shoes with good traction. The trail can be wet and muddy. Bring your binoculars and a scope if you have one.
We'll meet at 9am at the furthest southward parking area by the shell (crew) house. Stop by the restroom as you enter the park between the Group Picnic Area and the main parking lot. Then return to your car and continue southward to park. There is a commerical portable toilet along the trail too.
